Wearing Bright Colors Will Get You More Swipes on Tinder: Study
Why you can't afford to be basic on dating apps.
If your name isn't Brett, Tyler, Corey, or Andy, fear not. You can still find success—or, you know, true love—on dating apps. It could be as simple as changing your boring button-down shirt.
According to a new study of Tinder profile photos, adding a bit of flair is key when you're trying to stand out from the competition. 12,000 profiles of male and female users between the ages of 18-40 were analyzed in the study, reports Mashable with researchers focusing on big cities like New York City, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. They found that 72 percent of men and 56.2 percent of women chose basics and neutral colors when selecting a profile photo.
